I Have Back/Neck Pain

Studies show that for low back or neck pain if you receive MDT (Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy) within the first 14 days of onset your symptoms will most likely resolve within the first 2 to 3 treatments of care saving you $2,700 of unneeded treatment.

For those of you who have suffered for longer than 14 days, MDT still can help, however it may just take a few weeks for your care.

At PRO~PT, we have the only Certified MDT Specialists in the area. All of our staff are trained and follow the critical guidelines involved in the proper evaluation and treatment to get you back on your feet enjoying life again.

Although we can perform the traditional physical therapy that you may have had in the past,

MDT by far is:

  • More precise at focusing on your initial pain.
  • More enjoyed by the patient due to its simplicity of treatment.
  • Demonstrates longer lasting results.

Don’t you think it’s time that you start controlling your back or neck pain and stop letting your pain control you?

I Just Had Surgery

PRO~PT has had the privilege to work with many surgeons throughout the state and country. Working along your surgeon, we have developed state of the art protocols to ensure your safe and efficient return to the activities you love to do.

During your first visit, your therapist will lay out your treatment program so you know what to expect during each passing week of your recovery and what goals you should be striving to achieve. Too many people try to take their recovery too fast before the surgical site is healed, but our therapists will ensure that you know when it is safe to increase your level of activity; slowly returning to your normal daily routine.

If you are going to have surgery it is important to talk with your surgeon about getting scheduled for physical therapy ahead of time. If you are not sure what to expect, you can speak with any of our therapists who will answer any questions and set you at ease about what to expect following your surgery. They can also give you pointers how to minimize your pain just following surgery.

We are here to help. Recommend us to your surgeon today.

ImPACT® Concussion Screening

If it is the gold-standard for the NFL, MLB, NHL, and the US Military, shouldn’t it be the standard for our Tulare County athletes?

This screening tool evaluates and documents multiple aspects of neurocognitive functioning, including verbal and visual memory, attention span, brain processing speed, and reaction time, all of which can be affected by a concussion. It helps parents, coaches, and medical professionals determine when it is safe for the athlete to return to sport. Baseline testing begins prior to the athlete ever stepping onto the field
